No returns, refunds, or exchanges are accepted once the buyer has received and accepted the item.

Our Policy

Sealy Marketplace is an independent, locally-operated marketplace selling new and used items. Due to the nature of our business — which includes pre-owned, one-of-a-kind, and limited-quantity items — all sales are final. We do not offer returns, refunds, exchanges, or store credits under any circumstances once a transaction is complete.

How Our Process Works

We've designed our buying process to be fair and transparent for both parties. Here's how it works:

Browse & Order
Find items you like, add to cart, and submit your order via WhatsApp or SMS.

Confirm & Arrange
Seller confirms availability and you agree on price, payment, and pickup/delivery time.

Inspect & Test
At pickup or delivery, you may fully inspect, test, and verify the item before paying.

Pay & It's Yours
Once you're satisfied and pay, the sale is final. No returns after this point.

Your Right to Inspect

We strongly encourage — and fully support — buyers inspecting and testing every item before completing the purchase. This includes:

Electronics: Power on the device, test all functions, check screens, ports, and buttons.
Furniture: Check for damage, stability, stains, or wear.
Appliances: Plug in and run a test cycle if possible.
Clothing & Accessories: Check sizing, fabric condition, zippers, and buttons.
Any item: Ask questions, take your time, and be fully satisfied before paying.

What Happens If You Don't Inspect?

If a buyer chooses not to inspect or test an item at the time of purchase, they accept the item in its current "as-is" condition. By completing the payment without inspection, the buyer voluntarily waives all future claims regarding the item's quality, functionality, condition, or fitness for any particular purpose.

Exceptions

In extremely rare cases, we may consider a resolution at our sole discretion if:

• The item delivered is materially and significantly different from what was described and photographed in the listing (not minor variations in color or wear).
• The wrong item was delivered entirely (a different product than what was ordered).

In such cases, the buyer must contact us within 24 hours of receiving the item with photographic evidence. Any resolution offered (if any) is at the seller's sole discretion and may include a partial credit toward a future purchase — not a cash refund.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I return an item if I change my mind?
No. All sales are final. We encourage you to ask questions and inspect items carefully before purchasing.
What if the item stops working after I buy it?
All items are sold "as-is" without any warranty. That's why we encourage testing at the time of purchase. Once accepted, we cannot be responsible for future malfunctions.
Can I get a refund if I find the same item cheaper elsewhere?
No. We do not offer price matching or refunds based on price comparisons.
What if I can't pick up the item on the agreed date?
Please contact us to reschedule. If the item is not picked up within 7 days of the original date without communication, the order may be cancelled and the item relisted.
Do you offer warranties on new items?
No. Even new items are sold without any seller warranty. If the item has a manufacturer's warranty, it is the buyer's responsibility to manage any warranty claims directly with the manufacturer.
